Setting up your store settings correctly ensures a smooth shopping experience for your customers. This guide explains how to configure your Osokony store settings to control how buyers can purchase your products. You can choose to allow direct online orders ("Buy Now") or require buyers to request a quote before purchasing ("Only Via Request A Quote").
Step 1: Access Your Seller Dashboard
Step 2: Access Your Osokony Shop Profile
Click "Manage Shop" on the left pane menu of your Seller Dashboard. This opens your Shop Details form.
Navigate to"Store Settings" tab in the Shop Details form.
Step 3: Configure the Ordering Option
You'll find the setting labeled "Can Buyer Place An Order Directly?" Here, you have two choices:
Yes: Selecting "Yes" will display the "Buy Now" button on your product listings. This allows buyers to purchase your products directly through the Osokony website. Important Note: When a buyer uses "Buy Now," Osokony will handle the shipping, and a commission will be applied to the sale.
Only Via Request A Quote: Selecting this option will remove the "Buy Now" button. Buyers will need to contact you to request a quote before they can purchase. This is the recommended option if you are handling shipping and fulfilment yourself.
Click "Save Changes" to continue.
Key Considerations:
Direct Online Sales (Buy Now): This option is convenient for buyers and allows for immediate purchases. However, remember that Osokony handles shipping and charges a commission for these sales.
Seller-Fulfilled Sales (Request A Quote): This option gives you more control over the sales process, including shipping and pricing. It's ideal if you handle shipping directly to buyers.
Choose the Right Option: Carefully consider your business model and shipping capabilities before choosing between "Buy Now" and "Request A Quote."
