Adding Products to Your Inventory: Step-by-Step Guide for Osokony Sellers:

Listing your products effectively in Osokony Shop ensures they are easily found by customers, leading to increased visibility and sales. Follow this guide to add products to your inventory and maximize your store’s potential.

 

Step 1: Access the Product Management Page

  • Log in to your Osokony Seller Account.

  • Navigate to your Seller Dashboard.

  • Click “Products” under the “SHOP” menu on the left pane of your Seller Dashboard to open the Products management page.

  • This will allow you to add, manage, or list products in your shop.

 

Step 2: Search for a Product to add Inventory (Optional)

Cick the "Marketplace Products" tab at the top of the “Products” page to display existing products (added by you or Osokony Admin). Use the search filters to find the product you want to add an inventory to.

  • Keyword: Search by keywords, EAN, ISBN, or UPC code.

  • Product: Filter by product category. "All," "Marketplace Products," and "My Private Products" options are available. Marketplace Products are those added by the admin and available for all sellers. Private Products are those added by you and visible only in your shop.

  • Product Type: Filter by "All," "Physical," or "Digital" product types.

  • Click "Submit" to apply the filters.

Step 3: Add Inventory Details to the Product

The product list displays several action buttons for each product. If the product exists in the marketplace and its Approval Status is “Approved”, click the "Add Inventory" button to open the "Inventory Setup" page. Note: Only Approved products can be added to your shop and inventory. Fill in the inventory details:

  • Title: Update or keep the existing product title.

  • URL Keyword: Add a keyword-friendly URL (e.g., "organic-shea-butter-lotion" instead of "product123").

  • Stock Management:

  • "System Should Maintain Stock Levels": Check to enable automatic stock tracking.

  • "System Should Track Product Inventory": Check to receive low stock alerts.

  • Quantity At Which Stock Level Alerts Are Sent: Enter the threshold for alerts (only active if the previous checkbox is checked).

  • Minimum Purchase Quantity: Set the minimum order quantity.

  • Publish: Choose "Yes" to display the product, "No" to hide it.

  • Date Available From: Set the date the product becomes available.

  • Product Condition: Select "New," "Used," or "Refurbished."

  • Return & Cancellation Policies:

  • "Use Shop Return and Cancellation Policy": Check to use your shop's default policies.

  • Product Order Return Period (days): Enter the return window (if not using shop policies).

  • Product Order Cancellation Period (days): Enter the cancellation window (if not using shop policies).

  • Available for Cash on Delivery (COD): Select "Yes" or "No."

Step 4: Set Pricing & SKU Information

A list of product variants/options will be displayed. Manage each variant separately:

  • Cost Price: Enter the cost price for the variant.

  • Selling Price: Enter the selling price for the variant.

  • Available Quantity: Enter the stock quantity for the variant.

  • SKU: Enter the Stock-Keeping Unit (required if set as mandatory by the admin).

  • "Copy to Clipboard" Icon: Copy variant details to paste into other rows the same settings for multiple variants quickly.

  • Additional Comments for the Buyer: Add any specific comments for each variant.

  • Translate to Other Languages: Check to enable automatic translation.

  • Click "Save Changes" to complete adding inventory. You'll be redirected to the "Shop Inventory" page.

  • Keyword Optimization: Use relevant keywords in product titles, descriptions, tags, and URL keywords. Research what your target audience searches for. For Example: Instead of "Shea Butter," use "Organic Raw Shea Butter – 100% Natural Skin Moisturizer."

  • Compelling Descriptions: Write detailed and persuasive product descriptions that highlight benefits and features with relevant long-tail keywords and bullet points for readability.

  • Competitive Pricing: Research competitor pricing and set attractive prices.

  • Accurate Inventory Management: Keep your inventory updated to avoid overselling. Enable low-stock alerts to avoid running out of products
